It was so much fun to photograph Jill and Mike’s Wedding! I went to middle school with Jill and most of the bridesmaids 🙂 Since we went to different high schools, we weren’t the best at staying in contact. Thanks to facebook and it’s amazing wonders, we were able to stalk each other and she asked me to be her wedding photographer! It was great to see everyone after years of not seeing each other and it was like middle school was yesterday (well other than being a bit more mature)! Jill and Mike went to high school together and even though it took a couple of years for them to end up as a couple, they were definitely meant to be!
Jill got ready at her grandma’s house and I love all the little personal touches that the house gave. It’s like her grandma was there in spirit through her house!
The ceremony was at St. Thomas Becket Church in Mount Prospect.
Jill made the bouquets and boutonniere herself! They are awesome and so unique!
We went downtown Des Plaines to do some fun shots!
This is the first time I’ve shot people at the reception dancing to the chicken dance! They pictures are hysterical and I think it needs to be done at every wedding for my own amusement!
