Aranda and Nate :: Emmett’s Brewing Co West Dundee Wedding

Congratulations Aranda and Nate! They had a unique and fun Tuesday night wedding and I have to say it’s been the best Tuesday I’ve had in a long time. I did feel like it should be Sunday on Wednesday though 😉

Emmett’s Brewing Co in West Dundee was such a great venue. They allowed us full access to the building and I adore the shot with Aranda and Nate in the brewing area. There was a lot of love happening on a Tuesday evening and all the kisses show it! Their first dance was pretty much all adorable kisses!!!

Are professional head shots important?

A head shot is a first impression and if you’re using a selfie on somewhere liked LinkedIn then what kind of impression are you giving? Not a very professional one.

I may be a little biased, but I know without a doubt that a professional head shot will set you apart from the crowd. Take a look at your LinkedIn network and tell me who you would decide to hire. I bet it’s someone with a professional head shots and not just a selfie or a picture with their dog. LinkedIn and you’re website are not to be used in the same way as you’re Facebook or Instagram accounts, so make sure to keep the selfies to the social media sites that are meant for fun.

Don’t worry because not all head shots have to be formal. It all depends on your profession! Check out some of my other head shots here!

How do you get the perfect smile during your session?

How do you get perfect smiles from your session? Have fun! It’s as easy as that. I know prepping and getting everyone ready is a feat on its own, so when it comes to the session you can relax and let me get those smiles. I adore capturing those little moments between a family being silly and laughing.

Why are prints so important?

Prints and heirloom products are IMPORTANT!  Whoa sorry about all the yelling, but this is definitely something I feel passionate about. I love being able to look at my walls and relive the memories everyday or look through my wedding album and have all the love of the day come back to me.

I went to visit my grandma three years ago in Carson City, NV. It’s not always the most exciting visit because my grandma is now rocking it in her late 80’s, but my absolute favorite thing about my visits are the stories. My grandpa passed away over ten years ago, but when my grandma talks about him it’s like he’s sitting next to us quietly grinning.

I had just purchased my house and still had bare walls, but my plan was to put up photographs that make me happy. I told my grandma and she pulled out a box of old photographs. We spent the entire week and went through the box every morning. My allergies went crazy (stupid dust mites), but it was worth it. The memories and stories associated with each picture were amazing to hear and now my wall is full of those stories. My favorite picture is of their wedding day and how they wanted to get married two months after knowing each other, but were waiting for her brother to get back from the Korean war. He didn’t even get to attend because they just couldn’t wait a second longer. It was definitely love at first sight!

I want to capture your story and hopefully one day you can sit down and look through your prints or albums with your grandchildren instead of gathering around a computer screen.

My family at Brianne Bradbury Photography’s studio!

The perk of having an aunt as a photographer? Random sessions when you come to her house! Since my studio is located in my house and my adorable nieces and nephew came out for Easter they asked if they could have a photoshoot. We used EVERYTHING, but here’s just a coupe of my favorites.
