Ashleigh and Ben had a surprise wedding!!! A SURPRISE!!! It ended up just being the grandma’s that didn’t know, but their reaction was worth it. They thought they were coming for Mother’s Day Brunch at the Chicago Nature Museum and ended up witnessing an adorable wedding.

I don’t think I’ve teared up so much in all the years I’ve been photographing weddings, but for some reason most of them this year have tugged at my heart with all the emotion. I LOVE Cindy and Mike. They are such an amazing couple and I have the honor of knowing Cindy personally. I was so honored to be a part of their happy wonderful loving wedding. All the love just shows through their eyes!!!
They had their ceremony at First Presbyterian Church Arlington Heights and their reception at Palm Court. Also Michael had his dad as his best man!

I love thoughtful gifts and both giving and receiving them means so much. I was super excited when I was contacted to photograph Jack and Dylan for their mom’s birthday! The boys are so adorable and Dylan played hard to get, but I got that smile by the end. What a smile it is too!

It was so great to see everyone again and get to meet Nate! Claire has only gotten more adorable in a year and it is still my favorite name 🙂 They brought the most adorable wooden white chair for the session that just added to the wonderful color scheme that they chose. Blue looks fantastic with the sunny yellow and green background at Busse Woods. Still one of my favorite places to shoot in Schaumburg along with Heritage Farms.
