Sherry and Steve! Engagement Session at Cantigny by Brianne Bradbury Photography

I’m super excited to say that Steve and Sherry are engaged!  I’m so excited for their wedding and i’ll be watching my other step brother get married!  I’ve been told by my step mom not to get engaged next year since now she needs a year break since Dan and Ashley just got married in September (I’m pretty sure she was joking…haha).

We were able to squeeze in an engagement session before Dan and Ashley’s wedding since Sherry needed to get back to Boston.  I recommended Cantigny Military Museum because of it’s amazing gardens and Steve is just finishing up in the Army.  He comes home really soon and big sigh will be heard by all once he’s back on US soil!

Last but not least is that they are having the wedding at Duke University Chapel and Duke Gardens!  Holy Cow that will be GORGEOUS!!!

I learned that black and white chalk is the best choice.  I love how the colors look, but it’s harder to see then black would have been!  Their colors are purple and yellow and it will look great for their wedding!

Dan and Ashley are Married!!! Chicago Wedding Photographer Brianne Bradbury!

I have some amazing bride and grooms and I’m always so honored and excited to be a part of their weddings.  I was super excited to shoot Dan and Ashley’s Wedding because not only are they a great couple, but Dan is my step brother!  Talk about pressure 😉  It was hard not to get a little emotional during the ceremony because it was so beautiful and I think you will all agree.

Don’t you love all the colors of the bouquet!

They couldn’t have had better weather.  It was a perfectly sunny Labor Day weekend wedding!

Can’t you just feel the love in that first kiss?

The sand ceremony is a great outdoors option.  With Josh and Leslie’s wedding last year it was extremely difficult for the mom’s to light the candles with a little wind!  Made for a great photos of everyone laughing though!

Their candy bar was a success and it made for cute ring shots 😉

Sarah and Nick’s Wedding!!! Metropolis Ballroom Wedding by Brianne Bradbury Photography

Sarah and Nick had a beautiful wedding at the Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights!

The details make the wedding and they had some amazing details at their wedding!

I adore parasols for the bridesmaids.  If it is extremely sunny and no shade is available, they are great to give everyone a little relief from the sun and stop extreme shadows on the faces!

The park across from the Metropolis Ballroom, Harmony Park, is a great location for bridal party pics!  It also very popular during the summer for concerts which are always fun.

You all know now how excited I am to see fun colorful bridal shoes!  I’m always a fan of olive green too!

What a great idea sparklers were for the reception.  Metropolis Ballroom has an outdoor balcony that made a great locations to play with the sparklers.  This is a collage of the pictures from Sarah and Nick trying to create a heart!  I do love what you can do in photoshop because it looks so cute and made for an awesome ending to their album 😉

Mary and Mark’s Wedding

Mary and Mark had a beautiful wedding on October 16th with the most perfect weather.  It was the epitome of a fall wedding!  Their ceremony was held at St. Mary of the Woods in Chicago with the most beautiful stained glass windows.  I’m a sucker for a good stained glass window 😉

The reception was held at Mark’s restaurant Trattoria D.O.C. in Evanston.  If you like Italian food then I urge you to try it because it was amazing!

I LOVE THIS!!!  Haha!  Mark was shoving the cake into Mary’s mouth even though clearly it wasn’t all fitting 😉
