Rebecca and Rob’s Chicago History Museum Winter Wedding

Rebecca and Rob’s winter wedding at the Chicago History museum was magical! It was full of feather and sparkles. It was also right after that huge blizzard right before Thanksgiving too that made the entire steps of the History museum icicles. I was determined to get that beautiful epic shot even though it wasn’t what I was first planning, but I loved that they were great sports and stood in the cold to take a handful of gorgeous images.

Her dress was GORGEOUS and UNIQUE! I love fun wedding dresses that I’ve never shot before. The feathers gave it such a unique and fun flare that still to this day it stands out in my mind as one of the most fashion forward dresses I’ve had the privledge of shooting and it always helps that Rebecca is stunning also.

Happy one year anniversary Rebecca and Rob! I still remember their wedding like it was yesterday and adore all the emotional images I was able to capture that just scream LOVE! <3

Morton Arboretum Fall Wedding :: Sydney and Nick are married

My two favorite scientists are married! They were such a joy to be around and the love radiated throughout the day. It was the perfect fall day because the sun was shining and the temperature was wonderful. They had their wedding at the Morton Arboretum and it is a beautiful location. It’s always so gorgeous and has so many different options if you want a beautiful field, forest, lawn, maze and so many other options. I love going to the other side of the arboretum from the visitors center because they have an amazing forest that you’ll see below.

I can’t stress enough how much I love doing a first look and getting the gorgeous bridal portraits done. It’s a lot less stressful and then you can enjoy your wedding and all the love ones that are in attendance. Also helps to have amazing vendors like Andrew’s Garden and Toast and Jam to help everything run smoothly!

I also did a reveal and order session at their home after the wedding and I loved the custom wood print for them and they chose a wonderful album! Check out my feelings about prints here!

Prints for Life!

I love my job! I love being able to photograph amazing people and then help them choose wall art. I have a handy dandy app on my iPad that can show you mock ups and use your actual walls! Below are just a couple and ignore the horrible cell phone quality. I assure you the session images look way better 😉

McHenry Fall Family Portrait Session

One of my favorite places if you haven’t figure out yet is Pleasant Valley Conservation Area because it is so gorgeous! Eli and Tina met me early on a sunny Sunday morning mid NOVEMBER! It was so crazy warm in the middle of November last year and then the next weekend it snowed… crazy Chicagoland weather. I was so glad that they brought along Gucci for the shoot and love the fur babies being included. Tina’s a vet at Crystal Lake Veterinary Hospital, so definitely needed the fur baby in the shoot.

Glencoe Family Portrait Session

I LOVE photographing this family! Every year the day after Thanksgiving we do a family session with Sarna, Jessica both their families and their parents. This time we also got some extra grandparents added into the bunch! It’s so shocking how different the kids are every year and I always look forward to seeing them.
